Providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
The Site Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the quality program for installation projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards such as NEC and NFPA, and client requirements. This role involves extensive inspections, documentation, and coordination with stakeholders from design through commissioning and final turnover, reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance and working closely with Aftermarket Services Installation and Construction teams on site.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system through internal audits, creating installation‑specific QA/QC plans and inspection/test plans, and conducting regular site inspections covering structural, architectural, and critical MEP systems. The supervisor also coordinates third‑party testing, ensures code compliance, identifies and tracks non‑conformances, leads root‑cause analysis, and verifies corrective and preventive actions.
Additional duties involve administering the quality control system for site installation activities, ensuring all work aligns with contract drawings and specifications, inspecting materials and workmanship, and recommending solutions for quality issues. The role requires liaison work with owners, contractors, trade partners, and vendors, participation in punch‑list development, establishing commissioning standards, and exercising the authority to halt non‑conforming work while traveling to client sites as needed.
The position demands strong computer literacy with construction management software (Procore, CxAlloy, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office) and the ability to analyze complex data, manage dynamic teams, provide immediate technical support, and produce high‑quality results autonomously.
A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, along with certifications such as ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and OSHA 30. Equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
Minimum requirements include at least five years of QA/QC experience on large‑scale, mission‑critical construction projects—particularly data centers—supervisory skills in industrial manufacturing and modular installation, and familiarity with structural steel, pipe weldment fabrication, and mechanical/electrical assembly. Preferred certifications include USACE/NAVFAC CQM, ASQ CQA/CMQ/OE, and Certified Commissioning Professional, as well as deep knowledge of MEP systems and applicable codes.
Preferred qualifications further encompass ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 3834‑3 internal auditor certifications, and training in AISC 207‑20 and NEC standards.
The role requires a blend of office and field work, with 40‑50% desk time and up to 50% onsite in remote locations. Physical demands include occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds, frequent movement, and visual acuity for reading plans and operating computers, while being exposed to typical construction site environmental conditions.
