The position focuses on operating and maintaining gas collection systems cost‑effectively while meeting prescribed operating parameters. Core duties include routine well‑field balancing, blower and flare operations, condensate management, and surface emissions monitoring, all performed in accordance with SCS policies, the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan, the Quality Management System, and business conduct standards.
You will collaborate with senior staff on daily crew activity plans, conduct field observations, and document findings in daily logs and client communications. The role also involves calibrating and using field instruments, performing environmental sampling, reviewing preliminary data, and making operational adjustments as directed.
As a Field Technician II at SCS Engineers, you will bring knowledge of terminology, processes, and equipment used in operation, maintenance, and monitoring of environmental control systems. Reporting to a senior‑level supervisor such as a Project Superintendent or Project Manager, this role supports the Wabash Valley, IN area.
Required qualifications include at least one year of environmental control system OM&M experience, proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and Microsoft Office, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to meet physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lb, operating man‑lifts, and working in varied weather conditions.
