Parsons manages a Technical Services program for a Department of Defense agency, providing third‑party A/E review, studies, testing, specialized engineering, planning and design reviews, commissioning, and construction oversight on worldwide delivery orders.
- Establish Project Execution Plan, QA/QC Plan, and related documentation.
- Define program requirements and monitor deliverables for compliance.
- Create and distribute concise project descriptions to the team.
- Mobilize resources across support departments and subsidiaries to form effective project teams.
- Coordinate with facilities staff to address space requirements and with managers to develop budgets, schedules, and plans.
- Ensure project goals are met or exceeded and implement action plans for cost overruns or scope changes.
- Maintain current change orders and advise client and management of modifications.
- Apply Quality Assurance processes to promote technical and commercial excellence.
- Track and report project progress, milestones, and conditions affecting cost or schedule; conduct weekly status meetings.
- Conduct architectural studies, develop design concepts, and prepare related reports.
- Review CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, and construction documents for code and client compliance.
- Provide technical guidance to junior architectural designers and stay updated on emerging technologies.
