Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia; Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is highly regarded.
Proven ability in design leadership, coordination and integration across multiple rail disciplines on multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated competency in rail-specific electrical systems , including 1500V DC traction power, high-voltage distribution, and associated protection/control systems, in accordance with Sydney Trains and TfNSW standards.
Comprehensive knowledge of designer’s obligations under Rail Safety National Law and TfNSW engineering assurance processes , including experience working within a Technically Assured Organisation (TAO) framework.
