The production planner translates customer orders and sales forecasts into a production schedule, ensuring planning accuracy based on raw material receipt while optimizing equipment and labor usage.
You will develop optimized production calendars, adjust plans rapidly in response to sales and operations input, and communicate daily production issues. You will monitor inventory risks, coordinate component procurement with suppliers, and recommend corrective actions for delays. Reporting, performance tracking, and continuous improvement of planning tools are also key duties.
The ideal candidate holds a university or college degree in business, operations, logistics or a related field and has initial experience in production planning, procurement or inventory management. Required qualities include autonomy, rigor, attention to detail, decision‑making ability, leadership, initiative and strong communication. You must demonstrate excellent planning and prioritisation skills, adaptability to a fast‑changing environment, fluent French and functional English.
