Assisting with interpretation of dimensional data and reports
Evaluate and troubleshoot measurement issues, program errors, or system deviations.
Maintain documentation, program revision control, and best practices for global CMM use.
Provide hands-on support and guidance to inspectors, including:
Develop, validate, and maintain CMM programs for the Corporate Metrology Lab and multiple manufacturing locations.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to define measurement strategies and inspection plans.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance measurement efficiency and repeatability across all sites.
Perform light mechanical inspection tasks using calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other handheld instruments as needed.
Program 3D scanning workflows utilizing PolyWorks for part inspection, reverse engineering, and dimensional reporting.

Strong understanding of GD&T, metrology principles, and dimensional analysis.
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis ability.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
Training on running CMM and 3D scanning programs
Experience with PolyWorks for 3D scanning and point-cloud inspection.
Effective communication and training skills with inspection and production teams.
Familiarity with handheld inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Experience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS (preferred) or other CMM software (e.g., Calypso, Verisurf, MODUS, TouchDMIS).
