As a Warehouse Associate at L&S, you will handle general warehouse duties such as loading and unloading, pulling stock, and participating in the inventory process. The role requires dependability, punctuality, reliability, and engagement, and involves collaboration with your team, subcontractors, and production staff.
The position includes responsibilities like receiving, verifying, and stocking plumbing, electrical, and HVAC inventory, performing order picking, and providing accurate inventory counts through cycle counts or full inventory. You will follow established processes, maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard, adhere to safety guidelines, and work alongside industry experts to expand tri‑trade knowledge.

Strong customer service is essential, as you will support internal and external customers, production, subcontractors, vendors, and purchasing, while entering project data into multiple corporate databases and communicating proactively with management about issues. Accurate data entry and timely communication ensure smooth operations across all project stakeholders.
Qualifications include prior experience in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC construction, preferably a forklift certification, and the physical ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, lift heavy objects over 50 lb, and stand or walk for long periods. Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, a teamwork mentality, and the ability to take direction with a positive attitude while meeting quality and schedule expectations.
- Communicate proactively with management about issues and concerns.
- Prior experience in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC construction.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to lift >50 lb, climb ladders, and work in extreme indoor/outdoor conditions.
- Capable of standing/walking for long periods and performing physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a teamwork‑oriented attitude.
- Ability to take direction and meet quality and schedule requirements.
