- Complies with all policies and standards
- Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
- Responsible for conducting performance evaluations for selected departments or direct reports.

Provide industry expertise with respect to the competition.
- Achieves stated targets and standards for financial performance. Present monthly financial information to leadership, including schedules and budget forecasts.
- Initiates and directs proposal development and contract negotiations; they are responsible for coordinating project planning, including scoping, budgeting, maintaining schedules, communicating and managing deadlines and establishing and performing to critical project objectives.
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with equal employment opportunity initiatives.
- Plans, coordinates, communicates and facilitates activities of several disciplines on projects of all sizes from conception through completion. Successful completion of projects by collaborating and coordinating with internal and external clients.
- Responsible for interpreting policies, purposes and goals of the organization to Department Managers.
- Recruits, hires, develops and retains outstanding employee-owners.

- Expert experience in client and business development.
- Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including the use of Microsoft Project or equivalent.
- Adheres to Burns & McDonnell Quality Control program.
- Bachelor's Degree in environmental-related sciences, geology, environmental studies, engineering, business or related degree from an accredited program and 10 years relevant consulting experience, preferably in the consulting engineering industry or project management required.
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
- Demonstrated success in budgeting, savings and/or profit margins in completed projects.
- Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead and manage.
- Excellent planning and analytical skills.
- Expert experience in managing projects, which includes proposal development, contract negotiations, project planning, design team coordination & communication, budgeting, schedule management, and client coordination.
