Business Development Manager: Solid Waste Management

Description

• Record Maintenance & Reporting Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, tenders, and follow-ups. Prepare and present reports on sales metrics, forecasts, and client engagement to management. Ensure proper documentation management through MS Office and PDF tools.
• Team Handling Lead and guide a team of business development or field executives. Monitor performance, provide direction, and ensure achievement of targets.
• Liaison with Government Officials Coordinate effectively with state and local government departments for approvals, compliance, project execution, and official processes. Manage documentation and ensure smooth handling of government-related interactions. Support tender management activities including tender identification, documentation, submission, and follow-ups.
• Lead Generation & Networking Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Solid Waste Management (SWM) sector. Network with government departments, private organizations, and urban local bodies (ULBs) to explore partnerships. Arrange and attend meetings with potential clients and stakeholders to promote WeVOIS services.
• Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, including government officials, department heads, and key decision-makers. Address and resolve client concerns promptly to maintain trust, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
