Candidates must have a solid technical foundation, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for designing high‑quality structures. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or at least 24 credit hours toward that degree is required, along with plans to pursue a graduate program focused on structural engineering. Preference is given to individuals who are EIT‑certified and who can reliably commit a minimum of 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
Walter P Moore offers an internship for top engineering students to deepen their knowledge in structural engineering. Interns join the structural engineering group and contribute to project teams handling a variety of architectural projects, such as commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings. Interns are also eligible to take part in the company’s in‑house staff development program.
Walter P Moore is an equal employment opportunity employer that provides competitive compensation and benefit packages to all employees and applicants. The company prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind and encourages veterans and individuals with disabilities to apply.
