Leasing Consultants are the first point of contact for prospective and current residents. They greet prospects, show apartments, guide leasing, handle resident issues, coordinate renewals, review applications, complete paperwork, maintain files, follow up during lease terms, and keep the leasing office and community areas clean.
Responsibilities include opening and closing the office, inspecting models and amenities, responding promptly to calls and emails, maintaining signage and leasing records, entering prospect information in Entrata, and coordinating repairs with Maintenance.
Monthly duties involve updating and archiving leads and applicants in Entrata, conducting outside marketing as directed, and performing audits of lease files and system data.
The role requires a professional, enthusiastic demeanor with strong customer service, sales, and communication abilities, a positive attitude, teamwork, organization, attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to work under pressure.
A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Prior sales, customer service, leasing, or marketing experience is a plus, along with Microsoft Word/Excel proficiency; Entrata experience is preferred.
Work is performed indoors and outdoors, requiring walking, standing, lifting up to 10 lb, climbing, and occasional stooping/kneeling, with exposure to changing weather conditions.
Leasing Consultants gain hands‑on experience in leasing, marketing, and property management, build professional skills in a fast‑paced, fun, student‑focused setting, and make a direct impact on the community.
