  • Building a High-Performance Culture: Coach, mentor, and develop your team to build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. You’ll set clear expectations and help your team grow into their potential.
  • Identify and mitigate hazards across safety, health, security, and environment. You’ll be a visible safety leader, embedding AkzoNobel’s HSE values into every process and decision.
  • Oversee the pre-batching of raw materials for the Paint and Powder plants, ensuring production lines are never delayed due to material shortages.
  • Monitor and control warehouse costs to meet site financial targets. You’ll also manage contractor relationships and ensure optimal staffing across shifts.
  • Oversee stock control processes, investigate discrepancies, and implement best practices to maintain real-time inventory accuracy. You’ll ensure that every item is stored, labelled, and tracked to the highest standard.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all warehouse activities, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks—from raw material intake to final product delivery.

  • Strong people leadership skills—you know how to motivate, develop, and engage teams.

  • Prior experience with SAP and/or WMS systems will be advantageous.
  • Prior experience in warehousing and distribution, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of inventory systems and warehouse best practices.
  • Experience managing budgets and working with inventory systems.
  • A strong commitment to safety and compliance, with experience in ISO9000/14001 environments.
