Perform all incidental /associated work required to complete the job assignment.
Plan and layout work details in the assembly, installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical apparatus, control equipment and wiring used in industrial light and power distribution systems including equipment such as generating equipment, panels, automatic switches, variable frequency drives, complex circuit breaking units, transformer units, substations, and alarms.
Maintain work area and equipment in a safe, efficient, and clean operating condition.
Complete all documentation by required deadlines. Document accurately and clearly in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) in real time.
Interact with clients and maintenance staff to determine the best approach to completion of assignments in a safe, environmentally compliant manner.
Troubleshoot and correct faulty wiring or electrical difficulties in motors, and other equipment. Diagnoses, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, upgrade and install all electrical/instrumentation equipment and systems.

Experience and certifications in maintaining and servicing battery systems such as in solar and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).

Able to work on roofs of buildings.

Able to work in close places such as closets, crawl spaces, attics, vaults, etc.
High school diploma or state equivalent required.
Safely use a large variety of hand and shop power tools.
Skilled and physically able to operate hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift, and carry heavy loads, operate required equipment, and operate a motor vehicle.
Subject to call in work 24 hours per day, perform on call duties and overtime as required.
Lifting to 80 lbs.
Driving for long periods of time.
Electrician Journeyman’s and/or State License is required
Experience in working in critical environments (such as a data center).
Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
Climbing a ladder with a 300 lb. weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.
Must be willing and available to travel within the United States as needed (approximately up to 25% with reasonable notice).
Experience and certifications in maintaining and servicing electric vehicle chargers.
Knowledge of overall MEP system design and application.
Experience working in a service-related role, specific to commercial and industrial facilities.
Experience and certifications in maintaining and servicing solar power systems.
Must be willing to obtain any additional licenses necessary to meet any AHJ local requirements.
Demonstrate knowledge of electrical / instrumentation / control building equipment and systems required to operate and maintain electrical equipment and systems.
Experience in working with a team in planned electrical shutdown maintenance at facilities.
