In this role you will manage the full estimating and bidding cycle, from deadline and budget development to contractor selection and proposal preparation. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, contractors and clients, analyze project specifications and drawings, and perform quantity take‑offs and estimate preparation using historical data.
We are hiring an Estimator to bid and prepare proposals for General Contracting projects across Western Canada. An ideal fit values relationships, has strong acumen for numbers and conceptualizing large‑scale projects, and brings an understanding of various trade scopes to a rigorous proposal process.
The successful candidate will have at least three years of estimating experience in civil construction (junior candidates considered), a relevant post‑secondary credential, and strong people skills for building relationships and negotiating. You should be knowledgeable about modern construction practices, costs, budgets, project management, and risk assessment, and be detail‑oriented, assertive and innovative in problem solving.
