PLC Programmer

Supporting the hardware engineering team and software team.

Providing remote and onsite technical support

Provide training to users and fellow staff members

Researching, designing, implementing, testing, commissioning, and documenting new hardware and software systems.

Being a member of the after-hours on-call team.

Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals.

Working with vendors and hardware suppliers to implement and support systems

Troubleshooting and debugging performance issues

Programming of PLC and HMI used for the companies software.

• Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
• Strong analytical and strong creative problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues
• 2+ years of PLC programming and electrical engineering
• Knowledge and interest in computer systems, servers, cloud systems and the latest technologies
• Strong understanding of wireless, cellular, Bluetooth, Lorawan and telemetry solutions.
• Strong understanding of embedded software solutions and industrial PLC’s
• The ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data
• Excellent customer service skills
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with deadlines and work under pressure
• Familiarity with a wide range of hardware devices, display, IoT devices and network technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics

• Good personal time management
