Intern

Description

• Contribute to strategic or cross-functional projects that enhance portfolio performance, improve processes, or support corporate initiatives
• Participate in aspects of the due diligence process, gaining exposure to underwriting, lease review, physical due diligence, and risk assessments
• Conduct market and competitive research on industrial real estate fundamentals, tenants, supply/demand trends, and strategic submarket positioning
• Help prepare investment committee materials, development updates, asset management reports, and other internal/external presentations
• Assist with valuation and financial modeling, including discounted cash flow analysis, IRR/NPV assessments, comparable research, and operating performance review
• Leverage internal systems and AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to support research, drafting, modeling, and workflow efficiency
• Under the direction of a Vice President or Senior Vice President, the Intern will support a range of assignments across business functions, including:
• Support financial feasibility analyses for acquisitions, development opportunities, asset repositioning, and disposition scenarios

Requirements

• Prior internship experience in real estate, finance, banking, consulting, or related analytical fields preferred
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Proficient in standard corporate operating systems and software.
• Ability to build strong, professional working relationships across teams
• Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance efficiency and analytical output
• Self-starter that possesses innovative solutions and is proactive in resolving issues.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with a focus on accounting, finance, or real estate.
• Financial acumen
• Excellent organizational skills
• Analytical ability and sound judgment
