Construction Project Manager

Description

• Engage with environmental consultants and civil engineering teams, as needed, to ensure sustainable water management.
• Oversee design and construction of new railroad spurs and connectors into the facility.
• Apply hydrologic engineering principles to ensure proper drainage, flow, and environmental alignment.
• Monitor site activities to ensure safety, compliance, quality, and timely execution.
• Lead the planning, permitting, and construction of a new/relocated canal to support site operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rail regulations and safety standards.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, risk mitigation plans, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with engineering firms, transportation authorities, and internal logistics teams.
• Serve as the point of contact for contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• PMP certification is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong background in manufacturing, or heavy civil project environments.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with permitting processes and working with regulatory agencies.
• 8+ years of experience managing complex industrial or infrastructure construction projects.
• Proven expertise in rail infrastructure planning and canal/hydrologic system development.
