
Develops and manufactures insulation, roofing, and fiberglass composite building materials.
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for ordering parts, tracking lead times, developing and managing downtime schedules, and coordinating labor, equipment, and manpower to achieve project goals. The primary responsibility is to prepare and manage the backlog of work to ensure work is ready to schedule when needed and that enough work is available to keep maintenance resources fully scheduled.
The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and works a Monday‑Friday shift (7 am‑3 pm) with flexibility. Employees must follow all safety rules, lockout procedures, PPE requirements, and promptly report safety concerns, holding teammates accountable for safety standards.
Key duties include maintaining the preventive maintenance system, managing CMMS data, coordinating production schedules during shutdowns, and performing on‑the‑job investigations and field visits. The planner also facilitates meetings, updates bill of materials, creates task lists, estimates operation times, generates contingency plans, and assists in contractor management.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of mechanical and electrical industrial maintenance experience, and proficiency with SAP or other CMMS. Additional requirements include US citizenship or work authorization, passing a drug screen, health questionnaire, and background check.
Preferred qualifications include secondary education in engineering or industrial maintenance, extensive SAP‑PM knowledge, and strong documentation, public speaking, and Microsoft Office skills. The role may require scheduled and unscheduled overtime, on‑call support, and the ability to analyze lead times and prioritize jobs.
