  • You will take ownership of the NEC subcontract, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, including early warnings and compensation events.
  • As the MEP Package Manager for the 3 pumping stations and 1 portal building, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) systems through a subcontracted package of works. This includes managing the package from detailed design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover, serving as the primary interface between the project team and the MEP supply chain.
  • You will be responsible for developing and managing the package programme, ensuring MEP works are correctly sequenced and integrated with civil, architectural and pumping system packages.
  • You will collaborate closely with design, delivery, and commercial teams to coordinate interfaces across all buildings, align with the overall construction programme, and proactively manage risks.
  • Working in partnership with the commercial team, you will support forecasting, cost control, and change management throughout the lifecycle of the works.

  • Commercial awareness with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and change management.
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Ability to manage the full package lifecycle: design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, including design coordination, installation, and commissioning.
  • Experience working with or for a MEP subcontractor will be highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with NEC3 contracts and subcontract management processes.
  • Competency in project software tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, document control systems).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and integrate construction programmes, track progress, and mitigate delays.
  • Proven experience managing MEP packages on major infrastructure or building projects, ideally across multiple assets.
