The Traffic/Warehouse Manager will direct all aspects of traffic and warehouse operations at a LATICRETE manufacturing and distribution facility, ensuring maximum utilization of staff, equipment, raw materials and other resources to meet customer service goals.
Key responsibilities include maintaining a safe work environment that exceeds OSHA standards, meeting on‑time and complete shipment requirements, planning and controlling shipping and receiving activities, scheduling trucking, managing documentation and inventory accuracy, leading continuous‑improvement initiatives, supervising personnel (recruiting, hiring, training, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions), assisting with budget development and cost control, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems and ISO certifications.
The role also involves identifying capital projects, submitting proposals, implementing approved expenditures, fostering employee empowerment, and supporting the Plant Manager with additional operational tasks as needed.
Required qualifications are a minimum of five years’ leadership experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting, working knowledge of supply‑chain management concepts (MPS, MRP/II, JIT, etc.), a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership and analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work cross‑functionally. Spanish is preferred and travel of up to 15% may be required.
