Process Engineer

Description

• Carry out technical calculations using Global Tech & engineering design tools and processes to support designs
• Review and prepare project design specifications; comply with local regulations, Vopak standards, and international standards while developing designs;
• Prepare process flow diagrams, plot plan, piping & instrument diagrams, process specs for equipment;
• Stakeholder engagement; raising GE profile among project engineers within the organization, training other project engineers as required
• Prepare the PFD, Layout in AUTO CAD ensuring meeting local local regulations, Vopak standards, and international standards
• Prepare the basis of design, functional requirements, process description, performance measurement criteria, and commissioning plans;
• Help to prioritize within the Global Tech & Engineering department (projects, long-term initiatives) and to contribute the Global Tech & Engineering vision/mission

Requirements

• Experience in AUTOCAD is a must.
• Fluent in English and open to travel;
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering;
• 5+ years of experience in a project/process engineering position in a related industry;
• Having prior experience in Hydrogen, CO2, and Ammonia will be advantage.
• Knowledge of piping systems, tanks, and equipment including pumps, compressors, and valves;
