Field Services Engineer

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, PCs, laptops, printers, and networking equipment
• Support and administer Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and desktop operating systems
• Provide on-site and remote IT support to customers across the Cork area
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Support networking infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, cabling)
• Ensure service tickets are resolved within agreed SLAs
• Escalate complex issues where necessary and liaise with vendors
• Maintain and document accurate records of client systems

This is a varied and mobile role where you’ll provide IT support and solutions directly to the client’s customers, both on-site and remotely. If you enjoy working independently, troubleshooting real-world IT issues, and building strong client relationships, this role will be a great fit.

• Microsoft or Cisco certifications (e.g. MCSA, MS-102, CCNA)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Networking experience (switches, firewalls, routing, IP addressing, VPNs)
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and desktop environments
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• 2–4 years’ experience in IT support, systems administration, or field service
• Experience with remote monitoring & management (RMM) tools
• Full, clean driving licence (essential – mobile role)
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Familiarity with virtualisation (Hyper-V or VMware)
