The role is responsible for proper operation of the Leachate Management System (LMS) in accordance with regulatory and WM requirements.
- Operate and monitor the Leachate Management System (LMS) using SCADA, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Perform daily inspections, maintain records, and complete compliance (CYCLE) tasks.
- Maintain and repair mechanical components such as pumps, check valves, floats, level transducers, and air compressors.
- Coordinate daily activities with leachate technicians and work with contractors and consultants to improve the LMS.
- Review LMS data (flow, alarms, sump depths, loadout volume) each day to confirm proper system function.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation systems.
