Tasks

To supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe handling of both normal and food cargo in compliance with company, client, and QHSE standards. The Warehouse Operation Supervisor oversees receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch activities while maintaining operational performance and team productivity. -Ensure proper segregation between food and non-food products to prevent contamination -Identify operational bottlenecks and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy -Ensure all documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time (shift reports, dispatch logs, etc.) -Ensure discipline, attendance, and productivity standards are maintained -Lead, coach, and monitor warehouse team members (operators, pickers, forklift drivers, etc.) -Maintain warehouse hygiene and housekeeping standards, especially in food handling areas -Conduct daily shift briefings to communicate priorities, safety reminders, and KPIs -Monitor inbound and outbound schedules to maintain smooth workflow and timely deliveries -Ensure accurate stock handling and system transactions (GRN, picking, cycle count, stock adjustments) -Support staff training on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and QHSE compliance -Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damages, or product loss -Coordinate closely with inventory control and system support teams to ensure accuracy and traceability -Support automation, digital reporting, and KPI monitoring initiatives -Ensure all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with QHSE standards and procedures -Conduct regular cycle counts and support full inventory checks -Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments regarding order status, priorities, and challenges -Encourage a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement among the warehouse team -Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and resources to achieve operational targets -Liaise with transportation, planning, customer service, and QHSE teams to ensure smooth operation flow -Ensure all handling and storage processes meet client and company standards, especially for food and temperature-controlled products -Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or product non-conformities to management immediately -Supervise all daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, storage, order preparation, and dispatch -Enforce proper use of PPE and safe handling of materials and equipment -Support QHSE inspections and implement corrective actions as required

-Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure -Strong leadership and team coordination skills -Excellent communication and reporting abilities -Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is a significant advantage -Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field -Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory control processes -Familiarity with QHSE and food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000 preferred) -Experience in 4PL / 3PL logistics environments with both food and general cargo operations -Computer proficiency (MS Office, WMS/ERP systems) -3-5 years of warehouse experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role -Strong organizational and time management skills
