The Project Manager will join a leadership team responsible for daily project oversight, creating detailed plans that define tasks, timelines, and resources needed to meet project goals. This role drives communication among stakeholders, manages risk, and monitors progress against the schedule while embodying a passion for delivering results.
Key duties include administering contracts and change orders, overseeing procurement, schedule, and financial reporting, securing permits, verifying subcontractor insurance, and facilitating project meetings. The manager will prepare monthly status reports, lead project close‑out activities, and maintain positive relationships with owners, engineers, and design firms.
Candidates must hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related fields, and have at least four years of construction experience, preferably with a general contractor on large projects. Additional requirements are two years of team leadership, strong decision‑making ability, and a solid understanding of strategic, operational, and financial project components. Preferred credentials include DBIA or LEED accreditation.
The position is physically active, requiring frequent site navigation on uneven terrain, lifting up to 50 lb, and prolonged periods of both standing and desk work. The work environment includes exposure to varied weather, moderate to loud noise, and occasional elevated or confined spaces, with a strong emphasis on safety compliance.
