• Perform preventative maintenance schedules per company specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Conduct equipment inspections to ensure reliability and performance
• Perform pre‑shift and post‑shift safety inspections and report unsafe conditions
• Maintain required tools for job duties
• Complete daily duties and additional responsibilities assigned by management, including shop assistance
• Contribute to safety culture and maintain a safe work environment
• Work in a heavy industrial environment exposed to weather elements and noise

Plant laborers will ensure safe, efficient, and proper navigation of kiln operations and assist in the maintenance of the plant. The position reports to the Plant Manager and is located in Wichita, KS.

The hiring process includes a background check, motor vehicle record check, a 5‑panel drug screen (DOT if applicable), a fit‑for‑duty baseline physical (DOT if applicable), and paid orientation. You will join a supportive team throughout your career with Summit Materials companies.
