Description

The role provides visible Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) leadership and direction, offering advice, guidance and assurance to the senior leadership team. It also supports the delivery of the business strategy and objectives.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to achieve cost‑effective, efficient performance and support the implementation of HSW policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards. Audits and inspections will be conducted on behalf of the business, with assistance in resolving non‑conformities identified in third‑party audits.

You will help develop new standards, ensure ongoing compliance, and analyse audit results, corrective actions and key performance indicators to identify improvement gaps. Incident investigations will be completed promptly and lessons shared across the organization.

Leadership of a team of managers and professionals will be a core duty, establishing the necessary principles, structures, tools and responsibilities to deliver area plans and achieve excellence. You will provide performance management, technical development and coaching while working towards the net‑zero carbon transition by managing associated emissions.

Requirements
