Contracts Administrator

Description

• Reviews and resolves all issues affecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction with legal requirements, company and customer objectives.
• Provides corrective action plans, proposal submittals, and effective management of subcontractors.
• Ensures efficient and effective accomplishment of all contractual requirements.
• Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
• Reviews/negotiates contract terms and conditions and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Impactful Work: Your contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense
• Maintains contract documentation and records.
• Liaises with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve contract issues, mitigate risks, and facilitate contract modifications.
• Supports contract transition.
• Leads and conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation and administration of highly complex major contracts or subcontracts.
• Manage and administer contracts and agreements between the organization and external parties.

Requirements

• US Citizen
• Normal hours of operation (0730–1630 hours).
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels, both written and oral.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence customers and build strong relationships.
• May require travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations, expect approximately 5%.
• BA/BS degree and 8+ years of experience.
• Prior experience managing government contracts.
• Training in Contract Law.
