Collaborating with colleagues across the business (nationally and globally) to manage project resourcing, development and delivery
Substation design for power utility projects including creation of engineering reports, documentation and drawing packages
Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients including business development
Leading the preparation of proposals and bids for projects
QA of substation design and engineering, with oversight of design team including engineers and drafters
Support strategic initiatives on developing and growing GHD's Future Energy program, with dedicated attention to substations opportunities in Victoria and across Australia

Demonstrated professional judgement and commercial acumen, including identifying, assessing, evaluating and solving problems to brief and budget
Experience working with power utilities/on their projects would be advantageous
Knowledge of substation construction & commissioning methodologies
Experience in building and managing high performing teams
A minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering (RPEV required)
Ideally 10+ years industry experience (consulting environment or power utility preferable), with experience in substation design of primary systems up to 500kV
Understanding of the Australian Standards relating to HV substation design and primary plant technologies
Good understanding of the energy industry and mechanics of the National Electricity Market
