Seeking a Controls Engineer to support automation and robotics initiatives within a leading automotive manufacturer. This role will define next-generation robotic cell designs and equipment standards across North America, helping drive Industry 4.0 integration and carbon neutrality (2050 goals).

  • Support the Equipment Planning Group with robotic and equipment standards (paint robots, delivery systems, circulation systems).
  • Conduct site evaluations and lifecycle assessments of robotics systems.
  • Contribute to Industry 4.0 and sustainability initiatives across multiple facilities.
  • Lead equipment installation planning, vendor coordination, and compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ISO, and NEC standards.

  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 applications.

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical background).
  • Strong controls engineering skills and experience with bid specifications and vendor management.
  • Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience.
