The Integrated Possessions Planner role is a temporary three‑year position within the Major Projects team, responsible for interfacing with external agencies on large rail infrastructure projects. The role supports the Logan and Gold Coast Rail Alliance and helps ensure successful delivery of significant rail works.
In this position you will manage authorisation of third‑party entry onto Queensland Rail property, coordinate contractor corridor access requests and develop work schedules that promote safe, efficient and effective operations. You will also contribute to risk management, stakeholder planning and performance reporting.
- Lead and coordinate non‑SCAS corridor requests from contractors to support complex project programs.
- Develop and maintain detailed risk management plans meeting safety and operational standards for major projects.
- Create and manage a framework for site access requests, continuously improving processes and ensuring compliance with planning protocols.
- Organise and facilitate stakeholder planning meetings to review corridor access, resource needs, and authorisations for SCAS and non‑SCAS possessions.
- Produce performance reports and advise on issue management, resource optimisation and delivery of planned works.
- Keep up‑to‑date with rail safety legislation, Queensland Network Rules, procedures and trackside safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Integrated Possessions Coordinator and Lead to resolve activity conflicts and optimise the possession programme.
- Multi‑task and prioritise multiple enquiries while maintaining a highly organised approach to meet changing deadlines.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive solution‑focused outcomes.
