Part of a multi-disciplined team of engineers responsible to produce design deliverables for water, wastewater and process treatment plants.
Be involved in the growth and development of the company including expansion of the direct delivery model.
Responsible for assisting in all aspects of Mechanical design from site surveys of existing assets, optioneering, feasibility studies, detailed design and tender pricing.
Work as part of a team to support project delivery function, embracing the ethos of a “one team” culture.nsure Design, Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards, policies and procedures are always adhered to.
Provide commitment to excellence in Health & Safety (H&S) in design, complying fully with complying fully with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations (CDM) and all other relevant H&S legislation.
Liaise between Electrical and Civil & Structural Designers
Project managing third party designs and providing design assistance to installation and commissioning teams. Liaising with subcontractors / suppliers.
Production of procurement specifications for mechanical equipment and production of detailed design construction drawings.
Update Design Change Control.
Ensure Glanua’s & the Clients’ Technical Requirements are met throughout the design.

Ability to produce clear and concise mechanical design deliverables across all design stages of a project
Strong communication skills to interact with other engineering disciplines and the project team
Flexibility to travel within the UK (including Northern Ireland) and Ireland (where our head office is based) would be advantageous to help support our overall workload
Willingness to contribute to and help develop technical knowledge networks
Experience of the layout and interconnectivity of typical water and wastewater treatment works processes and equipment including pumping systems is desired
