Liaise with manufacturers to keep abreast of latest technologies and applications.
Develop high and low voltage electrical infrastructure design.
Analyse electrical requirements of buildings for central plant, lighting and small power to determine loads and incoming power requirement.
Work as an integral team member on some of the most prestigious construction projects in the UK, working alongside world class architects and innovative engineering teams.
Write technical reports, design presentations and prepare tender drawings and specifications.
Design lighting, small power and fire alarms to coordinate with architecture and interior design.
Visit construction sites and witness system commissioning.
Attend workshops and meetings with the architect and project team.

Use electrical distribution and lighting software as well as CAD including AutoCad and Revit.
Are driven, proactive, and solution-oriented.
Are confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
Can work in the UK without restrictions either now or in the future. This is a permanent role, and we’re looking for candidates who can grow their careers with Sweco without a time limit.
