BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
PE license in state of Ohio or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
Successful passing of the SE/FE exam
Experience in the plan production of transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Proficiency in software such as MicroStation, LEAP Concrete/Bridge, MathCAD, and MDX
Project experience in Ohio related to ODOT and/or local bridge design project work.
Bachelor's of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering degree.
Ability to do occasional field work (site visits and inspections) and travel.
Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing.
Knowledge of 3D finite element software such as CSiBridge, MIDAS, SAP2000, etc. is a plus.
Ability to pass MVR check.
Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software)
6+ years of bridge design and plan development experience
Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable codes
Benefits
Offered rate of compensation for Cincinnatti, OH. (and greater Cincinnatti, OH. area) will be based on the individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $175,000.00.
