In this position you will lead safety initiatives, oversee inspections, conduct risk assessments, deliver site training, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with OSHA and EM 385‑1‑1 regulations. You will also collaborate with clients, base personnel, and contractors to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits across the project site.
- Maintain and administer the Project Safety Environmental and Health Plan (PSHEP).
- Perform risk assessments and hazard identification.
- Deliver work‑site safety training and education.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM 385‑1‑1, and other applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with clients, base personnel, and contractors to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Apply problem‑solving and analytical skills to develop hazard controls.

- possess 5+ years of construction or general industry safety experience, including program supervision.
- Hold at least one relevant certification (CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or STS) and OSHA 30‑hour training.
- Complete 8 hours of documented safety training annually and have strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Demonstrate effective communication and leadership in safety training sessions.
- Preferred: Competent Person certifications for LOTO, scaffolding, fall protection, excavation, and confined space.
- Desired: Completion of 40‑hour EM 385‑1‑1 training.

The salary range for this role is $86,700 – $151,700 and includes best‑in‑class benefits such as medical, dental, vision, paid time off, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, 401(k), life insurance, flexible work schedules, and holidays.
