- Lead quantitative and qualitative research, synthesize findings, and make recommendations to senior product leadership.
- Stay up to date on market trends, emerging best practices, and competitors.
- Translate customer needs and business goals into intuitive, valuable product features that delight them
- Develop in-depth understanding of our customers to create buyer/user personas that inform product decisions.
- Engage all the stakeholders, including the customers and the users, in contributing to the product goals and get them on board with the product vision
- Create user stories and work with UX designers on flows and prototypes.
- Communicate clearly and proactively to your leadership team about the product’s roadmap and progress.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering leaders to ensure technical feasibility and timely delivery.
- Prioritize the product features and changes in accordance with the business impact
- Assume complete ownership of assigned products by becoming an expert on the product and being the product evangelist who continuously strives to make the product successful, driving user adoption and value to the company
- Manage one or more of Nextracker software products with the goal of aligning the products with Nextracker’s Corporate goals and defining the products’ vision, KPIs and development roadmap
- Continually track and analyze usage metrics to measure experience success and uncover areas for optimization.

- Strong aptitude for learning new technical concepts to the extent they apply to a product
- Strong background in managing energy or equivalent infrastructure solutions, comprising of hardware and software components
- 5+ years serving as a Software Product Manager for software applications, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- Experience working on a fast evolving product
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in the solar industry; utility scale solar experience is a plus
- Experience working on software products for solar or structural engineering design
- Strong analytical abilities and data-driven mindset.
