The Director of Project Management leads and directs Directors, Project Directors, and Project Managers to plan, coordinate, and deliver clinical study projects. This role ensures project objectives for quality, scope, cost, and timeline are met while aligning with corporate and departmental strategies for Precision.
The incumbent works closely with senior leadership to support business strategies, fosters collaboration across a global platform, and provides technical guidance on scope definition, risk identification, and resource planning. They also serve as the primary escalation point for study sponsors beyond standard project management.
Responsibility includes optimizing the profitability of the Project Management organization, managing resource allocations, and overseeing large or increasingly complex programs to maintain compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements. The role conducts project evaluations, implements corrective actions for at‑risk projects, measures key performance indicators, and drives continuous improvement.
Candidates must have at least 15 years of clinical research experience, extensive project and line‑management expertise, and a bachelor’s degree in a science or health‑related field (advanced degree preferred). Required skills include knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines, proficiency with Microsoft Office and project‑management tools, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
The position offers a compensation range of $203,400–$304,800 USD, discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings, and additional benefits such as parental leave and paid time off.
