  • Conduct electrical switching operations on equipment with voltages up to 345kV.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, conduct safety analyses, and participate in emergency response training.
  • Inspect, test, and monitor site equipment to identify and resolve abnormal conditions.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines, solar arrays, battery storage systems, and substation equipment.
  • Keep tools, safety equipment, and site areas in clean and functional condition.
  • Crosstrain with other technicians and support both technologies as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Support Root Cause Analyses for equipment failure investigations.

  • Tools and PPE for safe and effective job performance
  • GWO safety training and certifications
  • Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor conditions, including extreme weather
  • Eligible to obtain a U.S. Passport
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience -
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to respond to emergencies within 45 minutes
  • All wind turbines are equipped with lifts for safe access to elevated areas
  • Qualified to work on medium and high voltage equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college or technical degree preferred)
  • Capable of working independently and on rotating shifts, including nights and overtime
  • Ability to climb up to 300 feet and lift up to 50 lbs
