What you bring
- Strong math skills
- Ability to work with a wide range of temperatures.
- Ability to traverse different types of terrain.
- The ability to work a regular four-day schedule of 630AM - 530PM Monday - Thursday.
- This position will require driving. A valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs.
- The ability to perform strenuous physical activity in a wide range of temperatures and work environments.
- Working knowledge of data collectors, robotic total stations, GPS equipment and automatic and/or digital levels.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- The ability for occasional overnight travel
- Ability to interact both verbally and written
- Ability to work in an environment that may contain venomous snakes and insects such as ticks, red bugs, wasps, bees, hornets, yellow jackets, etc.
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to climb hills and walk long distances.
- Experience preparing detailed survey field notes and sketches of work performed.
