Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
Proficiency in GIS applications, Microsoft Word and Excel, and dedicated applications for regulation management, sign design, and road safety monitoring.
A sound knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. Road Traffic Regulation Act, Highways Act, TSRGD) and the processes for introducing traffic regulation schemes.
Understanding of road safety principles and sign design.
A degree in a relevant discipline.
Experience with highway regulation documentation and the ability to draft these documents to a high standard.
