A fully integrated global real estate firm developing, investing in and managing rental housing, logistics and life‑science assets.
The Make‑Ready Technician ensures vacant units meet Greystar’s quality standards for re‑leasing by performing technical and mechanical work that turns apartments into market‑ready homes. This role follows the community’s make‑ready checklist and completes all repairs and improvements before a new resident moves in.
Key duties include caulking and sealing around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers; inspecting and repairing sheetrock; performing touch‑up painting as directed; maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities through trash removal, pressure‑washing, and occasional painting; and supporting cost‑control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts. The technician also completes required maintenance documentation promptly, adheres to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, and delivers courteous service to residents by responding to questions and complaints efficiently.
The position offers an hourly wage range of $16.00 to $17.00, with additional compensation based on business needs, experience, skills, and location. Both corporate and onsite roles may qualify for quarterly, monthly, or annual bonus programs tied to individual and company performance.
Full‑time employees receive competitive medical, dental, vision, and disability & life insurance, low employee‑only medical costs, and a generous paid‑time‑off package that starts with 15 vacation days, 4 personal days, 10 sick days, 11 holidays, and a birthday off after one year. Additional perks include onsite housing discounts, a 6‑week paid sabbatical after ten years (and every five years thereafter), a 401(k) match up to 6 % after six months, paid parental leave, fertility‑benefit reimbursement up to $10,000, an Employee Assistance Program, and a range of supplemental insurances such as pet and legal plans.
