The ideal candidate comes from an architecture or interior architecture background, with a strong bias toward interior design, supported by solid technical knowledge and confident design communication. They should be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe CS and ideally have experience using Enscape for rendering. Experience working across the design stages, particularly RIBA Stages 2–4, is important, along with some exposure to the luxury sector. The designer should be proactive, organised and comfortable working independently, while still contributing to a collaborative and design-led studio environment.
The role offers exposure to both early-stage creative design and detailed design, including interior architectural detailing, joinery packages, and consultant coordination. At middleweight level, there is scope to take ownership of workstreams, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the smooth delivery of high-end residential projects.
