- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with the Portfolio Manager and key stakeholders to align project delivery objectives.
- Ensure compliance with DBFO contracts, manage risks, produce accurate reports, and maintain change‑management records.
- Design, agree, and implement project plans, organising and resourcing activities to meet objectives.
- Support projects through feasibility, design, and construction phases, informing client investment proposals.
- Develop robust cost profiles, identify key risks, and quantify resource requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and escalate emerging risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints, implementing solutions as needed.
- Oversee performance of framework contractors and designers, setting clear health‑and‑safety, time and cost expectations and taking remedial action.
- Contribute to business sustainability initiatives, including net‑zero and biodiversity net gain.
- Coordinate with the construction/supervisor team to manage permits, certificates, and site reporting.

The position requires willingness to travel to other offices and depots, periodic site visits (including night shifts), and a full driving licence is desirable but not mandatory.
Essential qualities include experience working in teams to develop multiple projects concurrently, strong collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders, commercial focus to drive project performance, high resilience to manage conflicting priorities, and excellent communication and organisational abilities. Candidates should also have experience managing and maintaining detailed project plans with framework contractors, designers and internal partners.
Personal attributes sought are proactive problem‑solving, good communication and collaboration, a strong safety‑management culture, the ability to prioritise and self‑manage, and the capacity to build relationships and engender trust.
