Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
Responding in a timely manner to incoming tasks (responding to requests for quotes, order , technical question assistance, product selection, resolving customer issues).
Develop accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
Providing support to Outside Regional Sales Managers, Manufacturer’s Reps and Distributors and being responsible for promoting all aspect of exceptional customer service.
Assist Regional Sales Managers with sales duties (answers customer questions by phone & e-mail, prospecting and entering information into CRM system, and preparing quotations)
Outbound activities would include following up on quotes, opportunities and leads and maintaining account relations.
Assist customers with troubleshooting, reporting and tracking complaints.
Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities.
Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in training and educational opportunities.
Gathering information to fulfill orders and transfer order information to customer service to be entered; communicating with customers on stock status, lead times and expected delivery dates of orders.
Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Previous sales or customer service experience a plus
Data entry skills and experience in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, Microsoft office applications, and ERP systems.
