The Director of Artificial Intelligence will lead the internal AI team to design, develop, and deploy cutting‑edge AI solutions that drive business transformation and operational efficiency. This role requires strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to align AI initiatives with organizational goals and ensure ethical and responsible AI practices.
The Director will develop and execute an AI strategy that aligns with corporate objectives, lead and mentor a high‑performing AI team, and oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI models from design through deployment. They will ensure ethical AI compliance, collaborate with cross‑functional partners to uncover AI opportunities, monitor emerging technologies, and manage project budgets, resources, and timelines while reporting progress to executive leadership.
The role requires deep technical expertise, including mastery of machine‑learning algorithms, generative AI, OpenAI and Gemini APIs, and major AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face. Candidates must be proficient in Python, RESTful API development, containerization, MLOps, and data governance, with a solid understanding of privacy regulations and ethical AI principles. Leadership experience, strategic thinking, strong analytical and communication skills, and at least five years of AI/ML development (including two years in a leadership position) and an advanced degree are essential.
