The operative will join a busy responsive repairs contract, delivering high‑quality maintenance across a variety of trades in occupied social housing. The role requires adaptability, problem‑solving and a strong focus on customer service, as no two days are the same.
Working on void and occupied properties, the operative will handle tasks such as installing kitchen units, repairing doors and fittings, addressing minor plumbing faults, conducting plastering, tiling and decorating work, and ensuring all repairs meet health and safety standards.
Candidates must have proven experience in plastering and domestic repairs across multiple trades, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently while managing their workload. Strong fault‑finding, communication, and the use of handheld job‑management devices are essential, as is willingness to take part in an out‑of‑hours emergency rota.
