Manage site operations, ensuring project safety, quality, and production goals, objectives, and contractual requirements are achieved on time and under budget.

  • Conduct weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors.
  • Direct and train project interns, project engineers, and assistant superintendents, ensuring continued development.
  • Train, mentor, and coach employees through concise instructions, practical feedback, and celebratory praise.
  • Coordinate daily project team activities to meet scheduling expectations.
  • Encourage and expect honesty and openness from yourself and all crew members.
  • Assist project team in completing pay requests as required by contract documents.
  • Develop site specific safety plan with the project team.
  • Abide by the Company’s Fleet Driving Policy.
  • Develop and manage a short-term look-ahead schedule and assist project team in maintaining the project schedule and milestones.
  • Assist the project team with properly completing and/or updating the project schedule.
  • Build and implement a quality control plan for subcontractors/trade partners work daily, ensuring quality meets or exceeds contract requirements with project management software.
  • Ensure all daily reports are completed by the project team using project management software.
  • Assist project team with project schedule development based on work type, equipment, and subcontractors needed.
  • Make recommendations to the project team/subcontractors/trade partners on necessary quality improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients, inspectors, vendors, subcontractors, and project team.
  • Complete Project Risk Assessment to fully understand health and safety hazards, labor shortages, productivity issues, subcontractor defaults/claims, quality control, etc., and mitigate all associated risks and negative impacts.
  • Create a daily plan after studying project specifications and plans to achieve completion on time.
  • Track material, equipment, and project milestones using project management software.
  • Monitor compliance of all safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop a final punch, site observations, and quality control inspections using project management software to ensure all project tasks are completed.
