Plumbing Mechanic - Charlottesville

Description

• Cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using appropriate tools
• Adhere to all company policies and OSHA safety standards
• Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures, and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes
• Lay out, assemble, and install piping systems, fixtures, and equipment
• Work closely with foremen, project managers, and other trades on-site
• Install water supply and drainage systems in new commercial buildings

Requirements

• Journeyman plumbing license (if required by local/state laws)
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and construction procedures
• Reliable transportation and basic tool set
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• 3-5+ years of commercial plumbing experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
