Lead the effort to customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
Support the Project Controls Manager in establishing and administering corporate project controls guidelines, procedures and reporting, and in making changes as necessary.
Lead the effort to ensure contractual obligations are being met on each project for items relating to project controls. Lead the implementation of change management procedures on each project, including monitoring and tracking cost and schedule trends/changes.
Assist in developing and maintaining staffing and manpower plans, project/proposal budgets, contract plans, etc.
Prepare schedule updates and schedule analysis reports. Compare current schedule to baseline, identifying schedule variances, and potential impacts to milestone completion dates.
Lead the effort to analyze earned value progress reports to determine project risks and assist in determining how to mitigate such risks.
Interface with in-house departments and third parties for invoicing and cost tracking purposes.
Support the Project Controls Manager in providing training and mentoring to project controls specialists. Supervise project controls specialist(s) as required.
Develop and maintain critical path method (CPM) project schedules, using Primavera P6, with resource and cost loading as required.
Lead the effort to prepare and provide key reports to project management for the purposes of supporting decisions and direction of the overall project, including progress and status report. Coordinate with project directors, project managers and the project team on tracking project performance.
Interface with project team members, clients, subcontractors, vendors and other stakeholders to collect data to support the development of project schedules and to perform project schedule updates.
Identify corrective actions that can mitigate impacts to project cost and schedule and recommend such actions to the project team.
Support the Project Controls Manager in providing oversight of project controls activities on projects; ensuring that quality of project controls deliverables meet expected standards.

Frequent sitting and operating a computer.
Expert in MS Project and Primavera P6.
Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
The preferred candidate would also be capable of performing the following functions:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a Business-related major.
Expert in MS Excel .
Business and people acumen
Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or office materials.
Capable of working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
10 Years Industry Experience.
7-10 years Project Controls experience, with 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
