Tasks

-Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. -Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. -Setting quality assurance standards in design. -Grow, develop and manage engineering capability within the practice. -Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels. -Defining briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.

What You Bring

-Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. -Familiarity with current UK design standards, guidance and working practices. -Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent. -Comprehensive knowledge in design such as flood walls and embankments, weirs, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, access and accessibility, and construction logistics. -Proficiency in delivering both traditional engineering and environmentally focused solutions using nature-based strategies.
